We're expecting Google's Pixel news to hit big this week, but how about some Samsung news first? The company announced it's launching the Galaxy Buds 3 FE, which stands for "fan edition" version. The earbuds take after their predecessors, last year's Galaxy Buds 3, from audio performance to the blade design. And best of all, they have active noise cancellation.

The Buds 3 FE carry on the triangular edge design of last year's Galaxy Buds 3 debut. They sport a matte dual-tone finish, and the charging cradle has a transparent flip-top. Samsung said it moved the microphone further down the tip for improved voice pickup. The Buds feature the same pinch and swipe gestures as its predecessor, and there's an easy-pair button on the charging cradle. The earbuds themselves are IP54-rated for dust and water resistance.

Samsung says the Buds 3 FE promise to "deliver rich, powerful sound with deep bass and clear treble." The buds offer Enhanced ANC, a Samsung-specific feature that helps reduce ambient noise, and Crystal Clear Call technology, which is Samsung's version of the Pixel Buds' Clear Calling. The Galaxy Buds 3 FE work with Gemini's "Hey Google" hot word and Samsung's proprietary Find My network. They also work with Samsung's Interpreter app, which can translate in-person conversations in a handful of languages, including Dutch, Korean, and varying dialects of Spanish.

The Galaxy Buds 3 FE are on sale in the U.S. on September 4 for $150. They come in black and a grayish color. We will have a chance to check out the earbuds and the active noise cancellation at this entry-level price point. The Galaxy Buds 3 FE already face competition from the OnePlus Buds 3, which also have ANC, and Apple's AirPods 4 with ANC.
